Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatuh Allah wa barakatuh

Dear Sister,

There was a woman in attendance at the recent California Release Your Inner Queen of Sheba! event who, when I called on her to introduce herself and answer a particular question, replied, “my name is ______________, but I just got here.”

And I said, ”well, that’s just as good an answer as any.”

So often, things happen in our lives, people enter, others leave – happiness, sadness, frustration – dreams forgotten, others reawakened – and only when we are open to the “Subhan Allah” moments can we grow, can we move forward.

The fact is that that sister was ‘here’ and being ‘here’ is a good place to start.

Now, I want you to be ”here” as well.  The ’here’ is still technically a ‘there’ - but inshaAllah, it’ll be a journey of self discovery that you just don’t want to miss.
